Shakespearen Sonnet

Dancing makes me so free and alive,
It is such a good feeling being free.
Wouldn't you love if it you could be me?
Up on stage in my group or on my own,
I'll dance my best for the teacher and judges
I make them smile and see what I've been shown,
Different costumes each dance that I do,
I have to make sure they all match my shoes,
Watch me do the moves that I have learned,
Arms and legs moving groving to the beat,
Music so loud going through my little feet,
I feel the audience all eyes on me,
Make me feel alive and wild and free,
Dancing dancing can you try it with me?

Haiku: Travel

Travelling is fun

I like to have adventures

Travel when you can

Chocolate is yummy

Free Verse: Changing Schools

Changing schools was the best decision I ever made.  I'm very happy.  All the people here are so sweet and kind.  They never leave anybody out.  The teachers are nice and teach very well.  They try to help you the best they can.

Free Verse: Be Green

Reuse, reduce and recycle are 3 easy things you can do everyday to keep our Earth clean to save the environment.  We don't want to live in a place covered with garbage.  We don't need the Earth to end up like the movie Walle.

Free Verse: Live Freely

Life doesn't last forever. Nothing lasts forever. So be who you really are show the world the real you. Live life the way you want to not the way other people want you to. Live freely.

Free Verse: Love

Love is sweet, love is kind. Everyone needs love. Love is for anyone and everyone at any age. Young or old love is out there waiting for you to find.

Quatrain

A. My friend and I wanted to go to the mall
A. I told her I need to pick up a beach ball
B. It was icey outside so I didn't want to slip
B. But that didn't matter because I slipped on a clip

Free Verse Poem: Do What You Love, Love What You Do<3

                                                  Dance like no one's watching<3
Dancing. Dancing, how do you feel when you dance. I feel like I am the only one in the room. I feel free and alive just listening and moving to the rhythm of the music. The beat makes you never want to stop. I just want to stay on the stage forever. Once I get on stage I don't feel the pressure of doing well, I don't feel the heat of the lights beaming on me, I only feel the rhythm of the music.                               Dance like no one's watching<3                                        

That day at the beach

A. Today we went to the beach
A. I hope I don't find a leach
B. If I do I might die
B. Then it might eat my piece of pie

I named my blog 'Madd's blog' because my name is Maddi.  Naming it 'Maddi's blog' also leaves it available to write about any topic.  My blog is a place where I can write poetry about things in my life that I may like or things that I may dislike.  I chose this background theme because its bright and colourful and describes me.
